Preserve Frederick was initially funded by a local steering committee until it filed for non-profit status in 2007.
In 2007, the organization was the recipient of a grant from the Agua Fund, which enabled the organization to strengthen its existing programs and publicize its efforts in order to bring more voices into the community. The Frederick County Sentinel is an example of the projects funded by this grant.
In 2008, Preserve Frederick is expanding its outreach to encourage the community and others to contribute to our efforts. To learn how you can help ensure that Frederick County grows in a way that respects its historic and natural resources and builds a stronger future for our communities, get involved.
